BIOGRAPHY

Howell artist, Pamela Stoddard, works mainly in acrylics and mixed media/collage; as she finds these mediums allow her to work in a personal, intuitive, spontaneous way.  Her work has been shown in galleries, and juried and non-juried exhibitions throughout the state of Michigan; as well as being chosen for solo exhibitions and business collections. She is a member of The Brighton Art Guild, The Guild of Artists & Artisans, and The Northville Art House.

GENERAL ARTIST STATEMENT

I rarely have a subject in mind when I begin a painting. What is happening in my life, as well as the impact my surroundings or events have on my thoughts, influence my paintings. My work is about the human condition. Through my paintings, I share my interpretation of those universal emotions, feelings, and experiences.
