2024 - Workshop Instructor: Abstract for Beginners
- Served as a judge in miscellaneous art fairs such as The Village Art Fair in Rochester, The Brighton Art Festival, and The Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair.
- Painted one of 10 banners to hang downtown Brighton for summer of 2005.
- Submitted a design and painted a 5-½ foot fiberglass bear, which was displayed at the Brighton Mill Pond for summer of 2005 and later auctioned at a Habitat for Humanity fundraiser.

“Fragmented Views”, Mixed Media Collage
Collaged images & found objects create different levels or dimensions giving paintings a surreal quality. This work expresses fragments of life – phases, uncertainties, predicaments & aspirations.
“Triangular Energy”, Acrylic with Collage
Image of the triangle is used as a symbol of energy; using layering of color, line & texture to create dimension & different aspects of direction.
“Reinforcements”, Acrylics
Images represent the idea of reinforcements not only pertaining to structures but also individuals (physically or emotionally), countries and even ideas. Images floating in space in their separateness but all needing “reinforcements” -- to be connected even tenuously in some way with something.
“Support System”, Acrylics
Images represent people – lots of people – surrounding each other, interacting with each other, supporting each other.
“Monkey Mind & Other Preoccupations”, Acrylics
Images representing frames of mind.
“Rust Regeneration”, Acrylic/Collage with Rust Abstract Images using rust & collage elements
“Travels - Near & Far”, Photo collage & Acrylics
Work inspired by photos I have taken while traveling - whether traveling through the city park in my own town or on a coastal shore in Maine, or in my own backyard - rocks, tree roots, rust, etc.
